James Rowles is an International Lawyer, Teacher, and Writer. He received a Doctor of Juridical Science (S.J.D.) in International Law from Harvard Law School, is a former Senior Legal Specialist (staff attorney) at the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights of the Organization of American States, and a former Lecturer on Law at Harvard Law School, where he taught courses on the international protection of human rights in Latin America.
